Video Games directly Connected to Mature Males Dysfunctional Relationship Issues.
With a great deal of respect to ALL the Gamers, whether Full-On Gamers or Part-Time/Free-Time Gamers, there has been a major point misconstrued by the public and media for an extensive period of time. The Media, in an attempt to justify the unjustifiable actions of deplorable individuals, sought to easily pin the reasoning and justification for such abhorrent acts of Violence that specific maleficent or Evil individuals have done over the past two decades or more.
I can recall when they picked the First Person Shooter genre of Video Games as the primary cause of Gun Violence in our Society. That was pathetically wrong. Then they switched to the heightened sexuality in Video Games, and stated that such imagery was tainting the youths minds and making them more susceptible to over Sexualization, Pornography, and of course we can’t leave out the ever-present Misogyny as the feminist ubiquitous excuse for nearly everything non-feminist. And yet, that too was wildly incorrect, but one element that was mentioned seldomly actually came to pass, and is now threatening to destroy the United States from within like untreated Cancer.
While everyone else was pointing and blaming Video Games for the previously stated Social Ailments, incorrectly so, the Real & Actual Problem was deepening its Roots and successfully gaining a stranglehold on the Youths of America.
One detail must be understood before I move on with my premise; per documented information from Statista the Distribution of video gamers in the United States from 2006 to 2022, by gender went from 62% Male & 38% Female in 2006 to 52% Male & 48% Female by 2022. The Major shift occurred in 2012 when suddenly the Female participation in Video Games seemed to surge significantly. We can presume why, but it doesn’t really matter due to the fact of what I’m going to state in just a moment. There is a simple structured Logic to Human Actions that will never change throughout time. A City Flourishes and becomes populated (Los Angeles, CA) or becomes destitute (Detroit, MI) based on how well it is believed that an individual has the potential to succeed in life, be it Monetarily, Physically, and/or to Propagate and create a Healthy Family. You can walk this reality back in time, all the way to Tribal times and you’ll see the same pattern in Humanity as a whole.
Thereby, with that understanding in tow, it is also the same on a Human Interaction level as well. Where the Opposite Sex has a tendency to be present on a common prevalent level, so too will the Opposite Sex also be drawn to that location so they may encounter one another in a natural state. For example, during the era between 1980 through 1990 the Modern Malls became the Hub to meet and interact with the Opposite Sex, from pubescent teens, to High Schoolers, College Students, and Young Adults. The Mall remains a popular meet-up spot to this very day. Yet, there was one group of individuals who separated from such a natural occurrence, and these individuals’ absence wasn’t initially noticed, because the average Gamer long ago was the Weak, Unathletic, Anti-Social, and marginalized…The Gamer.
We will not get into the different types of Consoles and Games that were available back in the 80’s and 90’s. Unfortunately, today there is no such thing as an Arcade anymore. Such locations were a hub for Gamers, who would shell out $20-$100 in one visit to play all the different Games that were available at such locations. However, such locations made such individuals leave the sanctity of their Homes and interact with the public, and in so doing such Gamers had a much wider range of actual Friends at that time, and were not as reclusive or isolationist as they have become today.
Yet, here’s the kicker. In the 1990’s to 2000, such Gamers still interacted in public events, and still found their way to be compelled to approach the Opposite sex. This is a naturally occurring process, because no Human Being exists that is without the core desire and attraction to the opposite sex. (Note: I will not address homosexuality in relation to my previous comment when speaking of the reality of Human Nature as a whole or primary majority.)
Enter the Single Mother Syndrome of the late 1990’s.
This period marked a dramatic and crushing shift in the way a Young Boy was raised. So much so, that if I even skimmed the surface of some of the details that defined this new era of a Family Structure, I would subsequently be adding at least 10,000 to 20,000 words to this article. However, we will state one element that was the prevailing factor of how these Young Boys were raised during this period.
Due to Single Mothers not being capable of protecting and securing their Sons’ from the environments in which they lived, Single Mothers became what is known as Helicopter Mothers, which are currently defined as the following:
“A helicopter parent is a parent who pays extremely close attention to a child’s or children’s experiences and problems, particularly at educational institutions. Helicopter parents are so named because, like helicopters, they “hover overhead”, overseeing every aspect of their child’s life constantly. A helicopter parent is also known to strictly supervise their children in all aspects of their lives, including in social interactions.”
I must admit, that definition of a true Helicopter Mothers is lacking in many ways. Due to my work with Young Men, 13–18 years old, I’ve seen true Helicopter Mothers in action, and that definition doesn’t come close to the actual psychological damage that such women put their Sons’ through. If you’re wondering, some of these Mothers don’t even want their Son to speak to other girls, because they don’t want the girls to point out how bad of a Mother she actually is. Yes…This really happens. Some Helicopter Mothers have approached me to attempt to Grill me for having the audacity to Volunteer to help her Son become a Man through his own hard work. That’s when I knew our Society would be Broken in the years to come, which came to pass presently.
The Helicopter Mother has at least five different levels, the worst being level 5. Instead of me defining each level let’s simply say that the Helicopter Mother from level 3 to 5 does the most psychological damage to a Young Man, ages 7 to 18 years old.
Remember, it is not naturally meant for a Woman to Raise a Child Alone. Remove all the trappings of our supposed Modern Society, and realistically apply Laws of Nature and what it takes to survive, and you’ll easily come to the conclusion that such a statement is in fact valid.
Let’s get back to the focal point of the discussion. The Gamer.
As we see in 2012, suddenly the shift occurred in which Females began to have a much more significant presence within the Video Game environment. As previously mentioned, the shift was natural, but in a mutated or weirdly so manner.
Why?
Previously, I explained that Human Actions are logically based, and this logic had a prevailing impact on the movement and actions of the masses as it pertained to the opposite sex. Now, take a moment if you will, recall the impact of the Helicopter Mother, who wouldn’t permit her Son to go out of the house after school, and who wouldn’t permit him to go on dates in High School, and who isolated him from most to all social events and interactions in the guise of “Keeping Him Safe”. Suddenly you’ll begin to see the moment of 2012, in which the Females, who were under the same oppressive Single Mothers, discovered where the majority of Young Males were hiding all this time, and they were sitting on their couches, trapped at home with their Consoles playing Video Games this entire time.
Enter the Social Media era…
Combine that with the absence of an interpersonal life with the opposite sex for a Gamer, and you begin to see a proponent to the added reality of the conclusive element to this article.
Take a moment if you will, and imagine the following: “You’re 17 to 22 years old. Due to your Helicopter Mother not permitting you to gain the natural experience of interacting with the opposite sex, you are woefully inept at dealing with the opposite sex, therefore you’re less likely to voluntarily approach the opposite sex, which is naturally obstructive to creating any semblance of a possible relationship with the opposite sex. Naturally, this then creates anxiety against approaching the opposite sex, which is only an additional obstacle to interaction with the opposite sex in totality.” Does this not sound like a crushing Catch-22 conundrum?
You see, the one thing no Human Being can get back is “TIME”. We all have an apex structure of our Lives and during that time we are at our most virile, potent, fertile, and best equipped to handle, adjust, and manage creating a long-term relationship, and subsequently creating a family through natural procreation, and experience the ups & downs of life thereafter. Yet, what has happened is that such Young Men failed to spread their Wings and take flight to venture out into the world of Manhood, and deal with the Positives & Negatives that come with finding the Woman for them. In failing to do so, Time Marches on.
In the Present Moment, the impact of the Helicopter Mother that created the Reclusive Gamer is now impacting the reality of the Society and Population of the United States through its foundational Birth Rate.
In 2020, the US Birth Rate dropped to the Lowest Level in the entire History of the United States. Over the past 30 years, the birth rate in the United States has been steadily declining, but in 2020, there were only 11 births per 1,000 of the population. In 1990, this figure stood at 16.7 births per 1,000 of the population. That statistic stands as a 4% drop in births making it the lowest point in American History. As of 2022, the American Birth Rate rose to 12.012 births per 1000 people up 0.09%, which is an improvement, but still looming extremely low in succession to the losses of 2020.
With the similarity to the Asian Circle’s (Japan, South Korea, and China) reproduction problem reaching extinction levels, with Japan primarily being the most severely impacted by this ugly reality. The focal point then becomes the US Male’s inability to Mate and Procreate in a long-term relationship. This is due to the Impotency of the Modern Male, which is directly relevant to the previously stated environmental factors that developed Males that are incapable of creating long-term relationships with Women within their age group (+/- 5 years age difference).
In retrospect, when I take into account the uncontrollable factors of the Single Mother Syndrome that then evolves into the Helicopter Mother, and how it impacts the Life of a Young Man in totality. Is it really the fault of the Young Man who’s development and ability to interact with Females is stunted and/or denied from developing as a whole during his youth, because of his Mother, and the forced rules of his personal environment? Obviously, the answer is no. Yet, the end result remains the same. A Large percentage of Males are severely inept at interacting with Females, which is directly affecting the procreation process in totality.
After taking all the details into account, I’m left with a bit of a change of heart towards the Modern Male. In my Book, “True Manhood”, I took the time to point out how the Single Mother Syndrome has negatively affected our Society as a whole, but I never applied the findings within the Microcosm of Gamers as we just did. The reality of such a discovery for me personally is immeasurable, because it removes my disdain for such people, and it gave me a sense of clarity for the realities of dysfunctionalism in the current Modern Male.
There is a very old saying: “There is a REASON for every REALITY, because nothing in this World happens without the presence of applied movement or change, and the said corresponding effects of such movements or change, be it positive or negative.”
Henceforth, we are then left with a singular question; With the effects of the Single Mother Syndrome upon the Males development now becoming known and evident, what is to be the final structure of relationships and birth rates in America?
Answer: Due to the Psychological Trauma that was applied to Young Males during their Pubescent Development, it is to be expected that two factors will become exceedingly more pervasive within the current Social Structure. One, the increase of the impotent Male due to his inability and/or unwillingness to overcome his inept capability to interact with Females. Two, the significant increase in Homosexuality due to the previous conditioning of the Young Males during their pre-pubescent age by their Helicopter Mothers who condition Young Males to be more effeminate to curtail or suppress their natural Masculine development.
The factor of Homosexuality is already significantly visible within our current Society, as it has increased Tenfold since 2000. The impotent Male will become more and more pronounced over time, as such Males fail to breed and create long-term relationships successfully. How much will this affect the United States?
In fact, the USA has one built-in element that may be its saving grace, and that is the Immigrant. The issues that have affected the Modern Society of the United States, are not in place in other smaller Countries. I will not detail said differences, and I will trust that it is already known by the reader in this situation. However, I will state this factor. In many other Countries, Single Mothers are a very small minority, and Homosexuality is not accepted as a primary cultural reality. Therefore, such Nationalities have not lost a significant portion of Mature Males to such a lifestyle that would naturally eliminate them from seeking a relationship with a Female of their choice. Additionally, such Males have not been Mentally Feminized on a Social and Physical level. Therefore, such Immigrant Males do not understand or agree with the current difficulty that American Males are having with said American Females. Thereby, it is highly likely that the new source of procreative consistent structure will come from said Immigrant communal structure, which will be from a wide Group of Nationalities, consisting of Latin, African, and South Asian Indians.
Unfortunately, this reality is not avoidable, because the Dice have already been rolled, and the effects are being felt in the present. From the moment our Society accepted the Single Mother Syndrome of the late 90’s until now, and did nothing about it, to our Society’s acceptance of the Feminine Cultural Mentality our Society has been falling apart on multiple levels ever since. Though we’re not at our lowest level just yet, the outcome is far from being guaranteed.
